Turn Your Recyclables into Tzedakah

Turn your empty cans and food boxes into meals for the hungry in our community.

Throughout the month of February, we will be collecting empty cans and food boxes that will be used to create beautiful Centerpieces for Tzedakah. The centerpieces can be rented for any occasion, with proceeds benefiting the Community Food Pantry.

The recyclables can be dropped off at Jewish Family Service, the Jewish Day School or the Jewish Community Center of the Lehigh Valley. All cans must be well washed.

The JFS Community Food Pantry helps feed the most vulnerable in our community, from the elderly to those who cannot afford to feed their children otherwise. In addition to donating your recyclables, you can support Centerpieces for Tzedakah by joining us in March when we create the centerpieces from the recycled cans and boxes.
