8ish Over 80 Draws Overwhelming Support from Community

Nearly 300 people joined us at Temple Beth El on Nov. 13 to honor 16 extraordinary individuals over the age of 80.

Guests were treated to a champagne brunch and had the opportunity to drop special messages for the honorees in their mazel tov jars.

The motzi was led by volunteer Leon Zoller and the residents of Atria of Bethlehem in a special video, followed up by another round from Rabbi Allen Juda.

Our President Wendy Born and Executive Director Debbie Zoller spoke about Older Adult Services at JFS and the impact that dollars brought in through the fundraiser will have on those services and the broader community.

The honorees were then celebrated through a special video tribute and asked to stand one by one by event co-chairs Audrey Nolte and Carah Tenzer.

Each honoree received a certificate from JFS, proclamations in their names from elected officials and their mazel tov jars to take home.
