With gifts bags and visits, songs and celebrations, we brought the spirit of Chanukah this year to Jewish seniors across the Lehigh Valley.

At Cedarbrook, residents were treated to Chanukah stories and songs, and at Country Meadows residents had the opportunity to celebrate with traditional food and drink as well as good company. 

Chanukah gift bags were given to seniors in facilities across the Lehigh Valley. The parcels included a card, a Chanukah cookie, and a handwritten note from students at the JDS, as well as a few pieces of gelt. 

The program, spearheaded by Carol Wilson, clinical coordinator of older adult services, was made possible due to the generosity of volunteers.
