Wendy Rapoport received a bachelor of arts degree in speech therapy/psychology from Douglass College (Rutgers University) and a master of social work from New York University. She is a licensed clinical social worker.

Before joining the JFS counseling staff, she was a social worker at Jewish Family/Children’s Service in Hackensack, New Jersey; a family counselor at Jewish Family/Children’s Service in Cherry Hill, New Jersey; a parenting group leader at the Gibbsboro School; an outpatient therapist at PsychResources in Marlton, New Jersey, and at TRIS, in Voorhees, New Jersey; and a geriatric counselor for Senior Solutions. She has also been in private practice.
