Jewish Family Service is proud to be a beneficiary of the Jewish Federation of the Lehigh Valley's Annual Campaign for Jewish Needs. By working with a broad cross section of community members to raise and distribute funds, the Federation ensures that the programs, institutions and values that enrich our Jewish community remain vibrant and strong. From feeding the hungry to helping the unemployed, from supporting families with special needs to funding Jewish education and Israel experiences, the Jewish Federation is focused on addressing the most pressing issues facing our community every day.

Second Harvest Food Bank

 

The Second Harvest Food Bank administers a number of programs to further its mission of aiding individuals at-risk for hunger in its six-county service area.

United Way of the Greater Lehigh Valley

 

United Way of the Greater Lehigh Valley provides leadership, convenes partnerships and develops resources and solutions that improve our community. United Way seeks to improve lives and community conditions by assessing the needs of the community, raising funds and investing in programs, measuring results, and mobilizing people to action.

Emergency Safety Net Effort

 

Safety Net is made up of a group of concerned Lehigh Valley residents and former residents committed to raising funds to provide an emergency safety net for less fortunate individuals and families. 

ShareCare Faith in Action

 

ShareCare Faith in Action provides free volunteer services to elderly or disabled persons in order to enhance quality of life. The Bethlehem-based nonprofit improves quality of life of seniors in the Lehigh Valley and promotes independence. We are proud to partner with ShareCare to offer rides through The GO Program.

 

Pennsylvania Association of Nonprofit Organizations

 

Jewish Family Service is a proud member of the Pennsylvania Association of Nonprofit Organizations. PANO is the statewide membership organization serving and advancing the nonprofit sector through advocacy, collaboration, education and other services in order to improve the overall quality of life in Pennsylvania. PANO exists to support the incredible work of the nonprofit sector and highlight the critical role nonprofits serve.

Network of Jewish Human Service Agencies

 

Jewish Family Service is a proud member of the Network of Jewish Human Service Agencies. The Network is an international membership association of more than 140 nonprofit human service agencies in the United States, Canada and Israel. Its members provide a full range of human services for the Jewish community and beyond, including healthcare, career, employment and mental health services, as well as programs for youth, families and seniors, Holocaust survivors, immigrants and refugees, persons with disabilities and caregivers.
