Meet Selma Roth

Selma married Jerry Roth in Temple Beth El in 1952. They lived in Chicago and L.A. and moved to Allentown in 1958, where Selma took an active role in the Jewish community, serving as the founding president of the Women’s American ORT Allentown chapter before serving as the president of the Women’s Auxiliary of the JCC. She has also served as campaign chair of the women’s division of the Jewish Federation and, with Jerry, went to Israel on a Young Leadership mission. Selma has done some work for the local Kidney Foundation, is a perennial Super Sunday volunteer, and currently volunteers at the Perfect Fit for Working Women. Selma is the proud “bubby” of 6 grandchildren.
